Taylor Swift’s Ex-Boyfriend Had The Perfect Response After She Got Engaged To Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift’s old high school boyfriend has reacted to news of the pop star getting engaged.

Swift is now promised to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, who happens to be quite the buff football player. Their engagement announcement has even drawn comments from United States President Donald Trump despite his previous claims of hating her.

The power couple took to Instagram to reveal their plans to be wed this week, sharing a post featuring several photos of them together.

Andrew Slye, who apparently used to date Taylor in high school, has responded to the news in a tweet bearing a pic of them together. “That feeling when your girlfriend from high school finally gets engaged,” he wrote in the caption.

“I used to tell myself: Andrew, it’ll be ok. She wasn’t right for you,” he added. “I just hope her husband isn’t some handsome buff football player.”

So you see, that phrase above wasn’t random…

Slye would have been in luck had one of Taylor’s prior relationships worked out. She’s been with some notable people in the past, but Travis is the first buff football player on record.

Taylor Swift’s Ex-BF Could Be Of Some Value

According to Slye’s bio, he’s a Tesla expert and a wedding photographer. So, he could be involved in the nuptials and may be able to offer advice on autonomous vehicles.

“She might have a limited budget. We’ll see,” he said on the wedding note.

He could also give Travis some tips on what not to do, assuming he was the one who got dumped and not the other way around.

While there’s no word on when Travis and Taylor might actually tie the knot, it’s believed that the singer has already picked her maid of honor.

The wedding probably won’t happen before the end of the upcoming season, so Andy has plenty of time to change Taylor’s mind.

We must point out that there’s no record of them ever being together. But it was a long time ago; we’re taking his word for it.
