Margherita Pizza Recipe 🍅✨

👩‍🍳 Ingredients:

Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
Fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
Ripe tomatoes, sliced
Fresh basil leaves
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

Prep the Dough:

Stretch out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter. 🔄

Add Toppings:

Drizzle olive oil over the dough and spread it around with your fingers. 🫒
Arrange the mozzarella slices evenly on the dough. 🧀
Add fresh tomato slices on top of the cheese. 🍅
Season with salt and pepper. 🧂

Bake the Pizza:

Preheat your oven to the highest setting (450°F or 230°C, ideally use a pizza stone if you have one). 🔥
Transfer the pizza to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly. ⏲️

Garnish and Serve:

Once out of the oven, add fresh basil leaves and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan if desired. 🌿
Drizzle a little more olive oil for a glossy finish. ✨
