Creamy Shrimp and Pepper Stir-Fry
Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup heavy cream
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish
Directions
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until just pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if necessary, then sauté onion and garlic for 2 minutes until fragrant.
Add sliced peppers and cook for 5-6 minutes until softened.
Stir in soy sauce and heavy cream, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
Return shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat in the creamy sauce, and cook for 2 more minutes until shrimp are fully cooked and sauce is well-combined.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh cilantro or parsley.
