Heidi Klum shared some words about her striking runway appearance during Paris Fashion Week, where she was seen rocking a widely-talked-about hairdo similar to her brother-in-law’s.
As someone who is constantly under public scrutiny, supermodel Heidi Klum is no stranger to receiving comments about her looks. Serving face, looks, and supermodel energy, Klum owned the runway in an eye-catching all-black ensemble for her first on-schedule official Paris Fashion Week runway.
She donned chic leather pants, a black shirt with the German word “Polizei” printed on it, and a lengthy black coat by Vetements creative director Guram Gvasalia. Completing her outfit, the TV personality sported high-heeled boots, which perfectly blended with her pants.

Adding extra edginess, Klum fashioned her usually long, wavy blonde hair into tighter curls. Her bold new hair, which is shorter in length and dark-colored at the roots, also featured bangs.
Images and video footage of the “America’s Got Talent” judge working the runway sent social media into a tailspin. Most netizens focused on how Klum looked with her new hairdo and marveled at how similar the style was to that of her husband’s twin brother, Bill Kaulitz.

“@billkaulitz bestie stole your look 😍,” pointed out an Instagrammer while another joked, “Oh Bill, is it you?” Agreeing with the aforementioned sentiments, someone else echoed, “She’s twinning with her [brother-in-law] @billkaulitz.”
Meanwhile, a fan, who made it known how beautiful they thought Klum looked, praised, “Wow, so so good!🔥.” However, not everyone was fond of Klum’s appearance, especially concerning her Kaulitz-inspired hair.

“Not liking the bangs!!” asserted a Facebooker while another questioned, “OK but what’s with the whole do [?]” One spectator who penned their comment in German expressed, “At first, I thought she was sitting in the audience and not on the runway, because she is unrecognizable.”
“Wowww Heidi now…. [More masculine]” added someone else. Another observer criticized, “She looks old and not very pretty.”
What a few online critics had to say about Klum’s fashion show appearance does not change the fact that the “Project Runway” host felt great about how she looked.
During an exclusive backstage discussion with fashion outlet Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), which took place after she walked the runway, Klum shared some insights into the iconic moment.
After boasting about how powerful she felt on the runway and speaking about how Gvasalia instructed her not to flash a smile during her walk, Klum gushed, “The music was amazing and gave this cool German underground vibe to the show.”
The iconic model who has been a staple in the entertainment industry for over 30 years featured in the Vetements fashion show alongside fellow industry heavy hitters. Apart from Klum, the show roster included Gigi Hadid, Travis Scott, Carmen Kass, and Maye Musk.
“I love that there is such a variety of amazing talent walking the show,” noted Klum of the star-studded event. Highlighting her gratitude for having been a part of the legendary moment, she swooned, “I love that Guram trusted me to be part of the show and wanted to show that models can have many different faces.”
A few days before her grand Vetements runway appearance, Klum participated in L’Oréal Paris’ Walk Your Worth event on September 23. This moment, like her recent runway extravaganza, holds a special place in Klum’s heart.
“One of my most fun fashion week memories was from this Monday when I did the L’Oréal Paris show. I love that we all got together to celebrate diversity and girl power,” highlighted Klum of her experience.
Klum also spoke about a sweet moment she got to share with her husband at the end of the show, which involved him catching the rose she was gifted to throw out into the crowd. “[That] was so special and I will always remember it,” reminisced the star.
While being recognized as one of the top models in the world certainly has its perks, it comes at a cost, too. When it comes to aging in an industry that is built on the precondition of always looking young and beautiful, Klum has shared revelations on the adverse effects she has experienced in this regard.
On September 25, “Call Her Daddy” podcaster Alexandra Cooper posted a compilation of interviews with stars who discussed growing older as women in the public eye. One of the famous guests on the show was Klum.
In their past clip, Klum began by mentioning how she often gets asked how long she is going to wear miniskirts. She clarified that she will wear them as long as she wants to, even if that means sporting them when she turns 70.
Speaking about how she views aging, the 51-year-old explained, “I look at it very how it is. You know what I mean? I see all my flaws when I — well not so much anymore because my eyesight is getting worse, but I see my flaws, you know, especially when I have the magnifying glasses.”
Continuing she stated, “But this is it. That’s how life is you know? You climb, you get older and then it goes down the hill again, you know, with our looks and not being plump anymore and this that, and the other. But at the end of the day, I still look in the mirror and I feel good about myself.”
Heidi Klum went on to emphasize the zest she still has for life even in her 50s, revealing how she still maintains a youthful energy and playfulness about her. She also reiterated that she could not care less about what naysayers have to say about how she chooses to live her life.
