Kawasaki Ninja 1000 (2017)

At Intermot 2016, Kawasaki announced the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 sport tourer, which would receive a host of upgrades to enhance both the sport and touring sides of its dual personalities. While there are obvious design changes to make the bodywork fresh, chief among those updates is the addition of a six-axis IMU from Bosch. With it, the 2017 Ninja 1000 electronics suite is now able tooffer much more sophisticated levels of control. Both the Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) and Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS) utilize the IMU to get a real time picture of the motorcycle’s chassis orientation, which it can then use to intervene if needed, and the level at which intervention is applied.

Recently brands like KTM, Triumph, BMW and others have made sure their products are ready for 2017 even before 2016 began. This is down due to EURO 4 regulations coming into place in the year 2017 and products launched in 2016 will need to be updated before 2018. One of the major things that manufacturer need to sort out is how they meet EURO 4 emissions regulations without having significant impact on performance of theirmotorcycles. Kawasaki is also one of them and this time, it is super sport category that the Japanese brand is looking at to make sure they meet all norms. Kawasaki widely famous Ninja 1000 is able tourer, a fast and sporty commuting machine and something that can be taken to the track if you want to.
